Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Kalamazoo, MI

Integral to all new product development projects, ensures that products are designed for manufacturability and then transitions products into production unit. Also validates all manufacturing processes per FDA requirements for medical devices.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1.    Will ensure manufacturability of all new designs
2.    Will conduct risk assessment on each process step and its ability to meet requirements
3.    Will execute process validations for all new product introductions
4.    Will transition all new products into full scale production
5.    Responsible to design, develop and qualify all fixturing
6.    Will implement production control methods to monitor process output
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
 
·         5-15 Years related experience
 
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
 
·         B.S. Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, manufacturing from ABET accredited program)
·         M.S Engineering preferred
·         Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, CAD)
