What you need for this position:
- MSEE w/5+ years of Digital Design Experience
- Algorithm experience
- Designing specific logic blocks involved with error correction & DSP
- Error correction experience in one of the following is a must: LDPC, Reed-Solomon, Viterbi, Trellis Code.
- Processor hardware or Embedded controller and firmware experience are a plus.
- Wireless and/or Ethernet algorithms are a plus
- Low power, high speed design methods are a plus
- SATA, USB, SAS interface protocol is all a plus
- Perl and/or Shell Scripting exp.
What you’ll be doing:
- Logic Design on ASICs
- DSP datapath functions & Error correction algorithms
- Verilog/VHDL coding, Synthesis, Formal Verification, Static Timing Analysis.
- High-level behavioral modelling with SystemVerilog, C and/or C++
- Define Micro Architecture
- Code RTL with VHDL or Verilog
- FPGA design, development and debug.
