Manufacturing Engineer – Electrical

Job DescriptionDevelops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequences and processes to fabricate parts, and assemble sub-assemblies and finished devices.

Responsibilities Include:
• Will assist subcontractors in resolving manufacturing and quality issues.
• Audits

• Process validation
• Will assist shop floor teams in resolving manufacturing and quality issues.

• Scrap and rework analysis and problem solving
• Training
• Will develop and maintain products and processes.
• Assembly Procedures
• Equipment procurement/validation
• Fixturing
• Process Validation
• Routings
• Problem solving
• Service requirements
• Compliance with standard operating procedures
• Will assist customers in resolving product issues.
• Problem solving
• Training
• Will provide customer service and team development.
• Achieving team goals and supporting metrics
• Setting and achieving training goals and plans
• Providing development and guidance for assigned Co-Op/Intern/Technician/Engineer.
• Developing and conducting Co-Op/Intern/Technician performance appraisals.

Basic Qualifications
• 0-2 Years related experience
• B.S. Electrical Engineering
Qualifications/Work Experience
Qualifications/Work Experience Preferred:
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tool, inspection equipment, and common office equipment
• Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical problem solving skills
• 0-2 Years related experience
• Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)
