Our client requires a Project Engineer, BSME (will consider BSCE or BSChE) with 10 years with a refinery, chemical plant, or chemical terminal to be responsible for small to mid-size projects which may include multiple disciplines which include light design, material take-offs, cost estimating, material procurement, bidding, and project execution. Individual will be involved with I/E contractors assisting the I/E Engineer and involved with QA/QC process on all jobs (soil testing, concrete testing, obtaining pipe materials MTRs and filing accordingly, coordinating x-ray technicians, witnessing hydrotesting, approve pipe welding procedures).

The project engineer will also be responsible for project execution, repair projects for existing infrastructure (tank repairs, piping repairs, marine system repairs, and working with other departments including maintenance, operations, and sales also needs to be experienced with API 650/653 tank construction and repairs.

Location: Houston, Texas

Salary Range: $80-90,000
