Regional Project Manager – Orange County, CA
I. Job Description
- The position provides regional engineering and project management support for US Peroxide programs specifically with integration of chemical dosing and other mechanical systems into client sites. The position is an integral part of the West Region team and will take a leadership role for project scope development, engineering design and project implementation.
- The position also provides operational support for regional account initiatives ensuring programs meet defined objectives for performance and profitability.
- The position provides leadership for regional safety and quality initiatives including but not limited to supplier auditing and quality programs (product QA, terminal / driver auditing and training, etc) and regional safety program implementation/training/auditing.
II. Key Responsibilities
The position requires responsibilities as below.
- Multi-Segment (Municipal, Industrial, Remediation) project management
- Engineering leadership and proficiency for mechanical, electrical and controls
- Customer interface at multiple levels to assess customer needs and drive USP programs
- Project scope development, engineering and system design
- Project coordination (internal and external) and project team leadership
- Support for USP commercial initiatives
- System installation and commissioning
- Project documentation and training
- Project auditing and safety oversight
- Regional operations leadership and support including customer interface and organized follow-up to address critical issues
- Regulatory code interpretation and application for projects
- Project budgeting and cost control
- Regional logistics and supply chain support and USP Safety / Quality Program execution
III. Qualifications
- Position requires a BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or other engineering degree with demonstrated experience in project management and multi-discipline engineering.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 10 to 12 years experience in a hands on engineering environment with specific experience in waste water systems preferred.
- Candidate must possess a PE license or be willing to secure the license within 2 years.
