Reliability Engineer – Midwest,

 

Degree Required:  Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field

Required Years of Experience: 2 years

Location: Midwest

 

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Works as a member of engineering teams to develop and specify reliability requirements for components, assemblies, and products.
  • Develops methods to evaluate components, assemblies, and products to reliability specifications.
  • Works as a member of new product development teams to influence design, efficacy, safety, robustness, and reliability.
  • Designs and develops new and unique engineering methods, procedures, special equipment, innovative test protocols, analysis techniques, and system level analysis tools and methods, in the area of reliability engineering.
  • Develops system level design strategies and may lead design, development, testing & refinement of components and sub-systems.

 

Requirements:

This opportunity requires a Bachelors Degree and at least 2+ years experience in related field.

Must have experience using MS Office, MiniTab or Stat Graphics, Experience with Reliability Engineering Package such as Relex or Reliasoft, Experience in an ISO-9000 environment, ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 is a plus and Quality Systems regulation 21 CFR 820 is a plus as well.  Also, able to conduct and document technical investigations.
