Must have previous Telecom Major Carrier experience, RFDS, and 1st or 2nd carrier experience. If they have ND311 experience they will be hired!

Professional services company serving the Wireline and wireless telecommunications industry is a National Vendor for AT&T, Andrew Corp., Sprint/Nextel, and Alcatel-Lucent. We are currently hiring RF Engineers for a temporary assignment in the Atlanta market.

Location: Atlanta, GA
Length: 2-4 months

Perform RF Design for GSM and UMTS sites. Need to be fluent with Atoll design for GSM and UMTS, spread of UMTS traffic maps in Atoll and importing data exporting it to other tools.

Experience with
Arieso ACP is a plus. Must have UMTS ATOLL design experience.
Perform Trident case to complete technical and financial justification of New Site Build and RF Modification. Mastery level of RF Site design and optimization in Atoll techniques: dualbanding, Azimuth, Downtilt.
Understanding of usage of drive test data in design and optimization.
Perform capital justification in CPT2 tool.
Manage Atoll coverage, traffic maps and drive test data. Will interface with region personal and tool vendor.
Initiate RFDS for sites that include GSM and UMTS site equipment.
Mastery level of usage and specification of HW equipment such as Antenna, MCPA, TMA, SCPA, Diplexer, RET, AISG cables
Review of Site audit and surveys performed by Civil vendor and revise RFDS accordingly. Successful candidate shall have solid understanding of tower equipment and configuration, cable color coding and shelter configuration to help troubleshoot and identify problems with site survey.
RF engineers need to be meticulous and detailed-oriented. They need to be self starter with little input or help from others. Excellent communication skill is a must. Selected candidate will interface directly with Civil vendors, Implementation team, Performance and Traffic team and market personal.
